The Latin word “Ubi” means when or where. Therefore, Ubi Global equips all people to discover when and where they need to apply grit and experience gratitude.

Laura Bratton was born and raised in Greenville, South Carolina. After graduating from high school, Laura attended Arizona State University and graduated with honors in 2006 with a BA in Psychology. In 2010, Laura was the first blind student to graduate from Princeton Theological Seminary with a Masters of Divinity. Laura was commissioned as a provisional elder in the South Carolina Conference of the United Methodist Church in 2010. From 2010 to 2011, Laura served as a hospital chaplain resident at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio.

Since 2011, Laura has been the senior pastor at Laurens Road United Methodist Church in Greenville, South Carolina. In 2012, Laura was ordained as a full elder in the South Carolina Conference of the United Methodist Church. In 2015, Laura completed the Spiritual Guidance program at the Shalem Institute in Washington, DC. In 2015 Laura founded Ubi Global LLC, which is an organization that offers speaking and coaching to people overcoming traumatic situations. In 2016 Laura was certified in Thanatology: Death, Dying, and Bereavement. In 2016 Laura’s book Harnessing Courage was published.
